My Rainbow E-Series vacuum suddenly quit?

Was running and then died suddenly. I can not turn it on. I tested the HEPA filter, able to use the replacement. Why won 't turn on the machine? Switch has an internal stop which must be reset or something? Who can I name in the area south of Hamilton / Ontario? Thank you, Andrew
