Rainbow vacuum question. to clean the air on a low setting so I need to remove both the front and back covers?

Its an empty brand dell'arcobaleno (surprise) and I can not remember where you are supposed to remove the covers or not.

I bought it used from the site below and didn 't come with you, so you have to assume that eliminating them.
