rainbow vacuum

My power nozzle waived on my vacuum of the rainbow. I got a replacement engine from a different brand vacuum, but the engine looks the same. I do not have to fix it right because I can 't get it going. The engine has 2 tie it out, a black and white. My nozzle power had come from the 3 to tie handle: green, white and black. I think the green is a ground attack that just the engine somewhere. Wires a white and black together doesn 't work I 'the VE has tried some combinations that include the links in the light and the key to cut the power (emergency). No luck. Can anyone regulate this right?

Most likely you have a problem with the switch. Test the engine with a different cable to test if the switch and / or cable are guilty. The white on white, black to black and the green earth? right. Also, check the white and graphite before the cable attached to the engine. You can not get the continuity?.
